From 2021 to 2025, I was part of CREWS (Creating Respect, Educating Wellness for Students by Students), a peer-led wellness program at CSU. I started as a peer educator, then moved into roles as Program Coordinator, Football Coordinator, and Social Media Coordinator—where I was the sole person running all of our social media while doing those roles.

When I first took over, our Instagram had just 200 followers after COVID. I set a personal goal to reach 1,000 followers by the time I graduated. On September 26, 2024—I hit this a year early. Since stepping in, I’ve increased overall engagement by approximately 400%.

As a one-person team, I designed graphics, managed content calendars, collaborated with CSU’s central accounts, led campaign launches, and completely overhauled our digital identity. I had no formal background in social media when I started—everything I know, I learned on the job.

This role sparked my love for digital storytelling and showed me how impactful social media can be when it's rooted in community, creativity, and intention.
