Here’s a look at some of the transmedia projects I’ve created during my time as a Journalism and Media Communications student at Colorado State University. These projects reflect longer-term creative work developed through class assignments, combining visual storytelling, research, and digital media. Each one pushed me to think deeper, collaborate smarter, and explore storytelling across multiple platforms.

Independent Project

This project started as a creative outlet and turned into a love letter to the place I call home away from home. I wanted to do an online visual magazine, something I had never done that before. It was a challenge I gave myself to step outside of the usual and try something new. I wanted it to be creative and reflective of my voice, while also showcasing that I can do many different things such as writing, photography, layout design, and storytelling all in one. Even though I don’t travel often, I knew I could bring the spirit of Sonoma to life for those who’ve never been. This magazine-style piece is a mix of visuals and narrative that highlights not just the beauty of the region, but also my versatility as a communicator.

Showcase Project: Culture Skin Care

I worked with Megan Baptist on this campaign for Culture Skincare—a mission-driven beauty brand rooted in authenticity and inclusivity. I created this as part of my portfolio to highlight my passion for inclusive branding and real-world storytelling. The goal was to build a social media strategy and visual identity that reflect Culture Skincare’s values while celebrating wellness, representation, and community in the skincare space.
